Rottweiler

Descended from the cattle dogs of the town of Rottweil, Germany, the Rottweiler once guarded livestock and merchants. Powerful and self-assured, it is calm and very affectionate with its family but wary of strangers. Early socialisation and firm yet kind training are essential.
